The Foundation launched InformaGente with the California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services to raise Latino awareness of and help disseminate essential disaster preparedness, response and recovery information to the Latino community as natural disasters hit us harder and more frequently. The Foundation hosted Rita Moreno and Congressman Joaquin Castro for a conversation about the past, present and future of Latinos in Hollywood.

The Foundation collaborated with FX Networks to create the Los Angeles Mural Project in celebration of the 3rd season of Mayans M.C. We commissioned 3 local mural artists to create 3 distinct murals and virtual unveiling ceremony to discuss the impact Mayans M.C. has on Latino representation.

The Foundation, in collaboration with Warner Media Multicultural, held 2 advanced screenings of In the Heights, one in D.C. for our sponsors and supporters and a second in Harlingen, TX for the student participants of The Palm Awards for South Texas high school student theater productions.
