The Foundation actively advocates for government and corporate policies that support diversity, equity, and inclusion in the arts through industry and government consulting, thought partnership and media advocacy.
Corporate Accountability
A world where Hispanic voices and perspectives are fully represented requires contemporary mainstream content based on today’s Hispanic-American experience. To achieve this, Latino voices must be included and embraced at all levels of the corporate ladder –– we need seats at the table. We advocate for policies that dismantle barriers and promote diversity in hiring and promotion processes. As well as spotlight organizations advancing Latino representation.
Government Advocacy
We liaise with government leaders to ensure the government equity agenda includes representation parity and that federal policy prioritizes addressing the barriers and discrimination that underserved communities face.
Media Advocacy
We create national conversations about diversity in the entertainment industry through opinion pieces in major news outlets and negotiations with entertainment industry leaders.
